Gardener in Scunthorpe, Recommendations
RSPCA contractor
As a naturalist and rescuer of sick and injured animals for many years, he has worked along side many branches of Lincolnshire RSPCA and recently won a number of contracts from the Scunthorpe RSPCA to help construct and maintain some of their rescue shelters and gardens.
Kate: Cattery
He has recently finished the complete installation of a 6 berth cattery kennel. It was bought by the client fully constructed, he dismantled it on site and transported it to the new location. He cleared the target area and layered a concrete foundation. It was then rebuilt on the prepared land, to the great pleasure of the client - and her cats!
I have no hesitation in recommending Bernie, he's kind and trustworthy, I couldn't ask for a nicer person to hire - Kate
Paul: Bamboo Gazebo
He is experienced in working in many different materials to achieve the end product you want. Bernie was commissioned to construct a bespoke bamboo gazebo for a clients garden in Scunthorpe which was to form part of an oriental themed garden.
...I'd had the idea in my head for ages, but didn't have the experience to put it together - cheers!, job's a guddun! - Paul
Dee: Bespoke Gate Making and installation
As well as working with timber, he has a wealth of expertise in metal work, both design and installation. This is particularly beneficial if you have irregular shaped drive ways or if require specific qualities such as asymmetric opening arcs (if your drive was very steep) or security features such as sunken bollards.
Because my drive was a funny width I had to get gates made, I was worried it'd cost a bomb, but it actually cost less than a lot of the ones from the shops, so I have to say I was very pleased indeed with it, especially as Bernie put me in a new side gate aswell - Dee
Tree felling
Although the loss of wildlife is sad, sometimes it's necessary, as in this instance when Bernie was asked to fell a number of trees which were adversley affecting neighbouring gardens. As can be seen from the photographs, no job's too small or too big!
